Kelsey L. Rose, MPH, RDN, LDN
Welcome! My name is Kelsey Rose. I’m passionate about deconstructing norms around traditional ideas of health and wellness so that all individuals may find a space to care for their mind and body, if they desire. Currently, I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Vermont in the Nutrition and Food Sciences department. I teach undergraduates clinical nutrition from a weight-inclusive approach through a biopsychosocial framework. I am continuing to practice clinically in the treatment of eating disorders.
Previously, I worked at Michigan Medicine as an outpatient eating disorder dietitian where I provided clinical services and educated providers on how to screen and treat eating disorders and disordered eating. I was fortunate to serve as a LEAH (Leadership Education in Adolescent Health) Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital. I completed my dietetic internship in the treatment of eating disorders at Simmons University under the supervision of Lisa Pearl and Marci Evans after graduating with a Master of Public Health degree in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Michigan. I identify as a therapeutic eating disorder dietitian and an eating disorder prevention researcher.
